Dr. Godfrey SikitaDr. Sikipa is a physician with a post-graduate qualification in Maternal and Child Health (MCH). He worked at various levels of the Zimbabwean health system from junior hospital clinician rising through the ranks at District, Province and National levels, ending as Permanent Secretary for the Ministry of Health. Godfrey is the Founder and currently, Chief Executive Officer (CEO) and Senior Technical Advisor of Compre Health Services, a private health consulting and service delivery company registered in Zimbabwe and based in Harare.

Dr Sikipa has extensive practical experience in health sector governing boards. He is the immediate past chairman of the Parirenyatwa Group of Hospitals Management Board. Recently he was appointed as a board member of Island Hospice and Healthcare, established in 1979 as the first hospice in Africa. In collaboration with the University of Zimbabwe Department of Community Health, Dr Sikipa has actively participated in the training of Hospital Senior Managers in Health Sector Leadership Management and Governance. Under the leadership of the Health Services Board of Zimbabwe Dr Sikipa has been a key participant in the regular review meetings of Hospital Management Boards of National, Provincial and District Hospitals in Zimbabwe.  With support from WHO Zimbabwe, Dr Sikipa drafted an Operations Manual for Hospital Management Boards. As a Member of the Presidential Advisory Council to the President of Zimbabwe, he has participated in the development of High-level Advisories to the President on various health issues including the COVID 19

He has wide international experience, having worked in various senior-level leadership and management positions leading multinational, multicultural teams in both developed and developing countries. He is a current member of the Technical Evaluation Reference Group (TERG) of the Governing Board of the Geneva-based Global Fund to fight AIDS, TB and Malaria.
